                                                  What Is "Green"?

"Green” and “Sustainable” building are terms used to describe the practice of environmentally responsible building.
A green building is a structure designed, built, renovated, operated, or reused in an ecological and resource-efficient manner. Green buildings are designed to meet certain objectives such as protecting occupant health; using energy, water, and other resources more efficiently; and reducing the overall impact to the environment.

What is a green home? Unique Designs defines a green home as a home that reduces the consumption of energy, water, and natural resources; exhibits sustainability; creates less waste; and is healthier for those living in it.
